Is this The House?

Here are a few photos of the house we are considering.

“Impressions” and comments welcomed!

Cheers and my thanks, folks,

Melissa

Now, I wasn’t going to say anything, but Holly noted something that I did myself, a “black shadow” on the front of the house between the windows in picture #1. So I am adding this photo above to show you that the shadow is no longer at the front, but seemed to follow us around (note it is no longer on the front of the house) as we were looking back. I’ve talked this over with Emile, and he says it could be something on the lens, however, the shape is different and we took other photos of large white areas and the shadow is not on any of them. Also, Emile said he would like to think it is something on the lens, but...

Ooga-booga! Hehe!

Look at the size of it! LOL. The land around it has to look gorgeous is Autumn ~ imagine the amazing colors you'll be surrounded with. *envious*

Oh yes, Azodnem, the size of the place is INCREDIBLE. They list the above ground (house) finished area as APRX 2,225 feet...and then there is the unfinished part, basement and second part of the house with an additional APRX 2,398 feet more!

And the views available from all sides of the house...? Lets just say that the room I’ve picked out for myself has a grand view overlooking the small apple orchard held in a bend of the river (all of it is part of the property)...and that is just one of the views from that room.

But the work needed on it... Not cosmetic, but damn near “Is it about to cave in in some sections?” type of work. Well, still far too early, and yet... Shrugs.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. Any pictures of that dashing coat of yours yet?
Cheers,
Melissa

Whoa, Melissa.... "Ominous", "forboding", "haunted", "watchful" - just a few words that leap to mind at the pictures of this house you're considering... "Secretive" is another word that jumps to mind...

What is that shadow between the two bottom right windows in the first picture, Melissa?

The view is spectacular, though. Lots of room to run and play, hang out with nature, find your center... There is serious potential there, for sure.

Oh yeah, Holly, it is all of that and more!
As for the shadow...you know, that caught my eye as well when I was overlooking the photos, and to tell the truth I’ve no idea what it is. And I’m going to add a photograph because looking at some other picts right now...it followed us. Whee!

Cheers,
Melissa

Okay, I just saw the added photo, Melissa - like you say, the shape is different, and there aren't any other shadows in any of the other pics (except that one I already asked about). I think you have a VERY determined "friend" there, sweetie, and I'm definitely even more interested in seeing more pictures!

my partner had ghost expert do a reading in her house and they took photos and there were orbs in her house, now i wasn't a believer in all this but one of the female friends also had a camera with these orbs on made me start to think, then about two months later i did a fund raising presentation to a local group and two cameras produced these orbs, i then contacted a local who specialises in ghost hunting and he confirmed these orbs were spirits and ever since i've spotted orbs on photos on the internet in bloggs and on face book albums and i'm now a believer o:) i'll post the photos on my blog later today
